About Me

Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my portfolio.

 

Currently, I live in South Orange County as a Technical Support Engineer for one of Intel/McAfee SaaS' largest partners - Nuvotera. On a daily bases I am required to provide top tier support for a variety of services, such as:

  • Mailboxes with Hosted Exchange, VAR Dynamics and Smartermail.

  • McAfee SaaS products including:

    • Inbound/outbound email filtering for spam, malware, fraudulent messages, keywords, attachments, and a number of other ways to filter messages.

    • Also, email encryption, archiving, authentication, hyperlink click protection, web secuirty, Active Directory sync, and disaster recovery.

  • iScan Online security for mobile and desktop.

  • Soonr cloud services.

 

Support for these services involve the troubleshooting of mail servers, firewalls, mailboxes, DNS, ISPs, and web forms. Standard forms of communication incude: email, instant messaging, over the phone and/or via remote desktop.

Nuvotera is a small but growing company that requires dynamic employees that can fulfill many responsibilities. My responsibilities include, but are not limited to: fulltime support crew lead, part-time provisioning, new hire training, employee cross training, creating FAQ articles for the online learning center, internal documents, other projects that are delegated to me or personally assigned that add value to the company. 

 

I’m in the process of finding my true calling in life. I love to learn and the feeling of accomplishment when I master new skills. I have many widely different interests with a fair amount of experience in each one. I am very passionate about my hobbies and luckily for me the skills involved can be valuable in a professional environment. Some of my interests may include:
